The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded contract 6973GH-24-D-00082 to Stellant Systems, Inc. for repair of ASR-8 Klystron Tubes, NSN: 5960-01-550-8038 for support of ASR-8 field Radar sites operated by the FAA. The contract was awarded for one (1) base year period with four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the FAA. Stellant Systems, Inc., Williamsport, PA, is the only known source that can repair the ASR-8 Klystron Tubes manufactured by Stellant. Stellant Systems owns the proprietary data rights for these klystron tubes. A market survey (6973GH-24-MS-00005) was posted to the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) web site on February 2, 2024. No responses were received in response to the market survey. Additionally, a Notice of Intent to Single Source (6973GH-24-R-00078) was posted to the SAM.gov web site on March 11, 2024. An Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contract with firm-fixed prices for repair of the ASR-8 Klystron Tubes for use in the ASR-8 radar system has been awarded to Stellant Systems, Williamsport, PA. The Total Estimated Potential Value (TEPV) of the base period of the contract is $1,431,572.00. This announcement is for information purposes only, not a request for proposals.
